Ownership and History This game was donated to the Staten Island Historical Society in 1935 by Miss Josephine Henning. It is noted in the Society's accession records as having belonged to the Banker - White family of Greenridge, Staten Island.

Park J. and Sophia (Banker) White were married in 1886. This game may have been used by their children, J. Russell (born in 1887) and Park Jerauld Jr. (born in 1891).

Research in census records shows that Miss Henning was a household employee of the White family. She is listed as the family's waitress in 1910 and as the maid in 1930.
